hey,
go to the upper left hand corner, press m, then go to the upper right
corner and hit shift space and it will fill in the line from left top
to right top.
then do this with the other sides, it makes it a lot easier and will
work with rooms as well.
if you wanted you could fill the whole map in with wall with m at top
left and shift space at bottom right, then use one by one tile
placement to create a path through the wall making it easier to create
passages while having anything you don't want to be available to walk
to filled in with wall.
hope this helps
