Hi,
I realy have no idea how easy or difficult it would be to port kodi to 
haiku, so sorry if my idea is foolish.
Kodi seems to have a netflixplugin(netflixbmc) which allows watching 
netflix from kodi. so a kodi port in haikuu os would allow netflix, and 
maybe even smooth youtube support(when a connection between webpositive ‎and 
kodi would be possible to view youtube-files in kodi.

I'd say the nature of Haiku would be such that a new, Haiku specific program(s) 
with the same (better) functionality kodi provides would be more in-line with 
this philosophy. Honestly, who on here thinks it'd be worthwhile to port a 
bunch of Linux programs, along with their many problems? I swear they oughta 
change the project name from Haiku to Not Another Linux Port.
