Nope, it seems there isn't. Usually, suggestions are supposed to be reviewed by the team in question, but I cannot find any information about the pt_BR team on the i18n wiki (http://dev.haiku-os.org/wiki/i18n) either.
Assuming that the team did not exist until now and you are starting a new one, I can make you the admin for pt_BR so that you can approve your (and other's) suggestions and submit translations yourself. How would you like that?
