The point is also you learned something: to put certain stuff in certain directories. Package Management changes some of that, and for valid reasons (see Axel's mail about these being *merged*, not the package contents only!). So now you have to re-learn some things.

If you came to Haiku as a fresh user or developer, you would learn the PM directory locations like it had always been that way and you would never wonder about it. Just like you had no problem accepting the BeOS directory locations when you first learned them.
