Same issues here (on VirtualBox, since Haiku PM won't boot on my real
hardware). I was attempting to copy several files in /boot/home and
some libraries in /boot/common/lib, and i noticed the same. If i
attempt to remove the read-only via Get info > Permission, checking
the box "Write" this will not really affect the permissions.
