Sorry Jack.. I should have scrolled down..and didn't.. I jumped to the
conclusion you were complaining of rule 2 which was sort of logical..

However, no I still disagree with you, rule three is excluding observation from
the ground, as evidence for either scenario. I assume this refers to visible
observations, ah la the sun rises..... And I agree. Science is more about the
practical application of Newtons laws, which prohibit the geocentric view, and
support the heliocentric, even though this goes against what is observed on the
ground. I thought the rule 3 just excluded blind belief in the illusion caused
by relative motions.

Once again sorry for jumping in too quick. Will you be responding with an
answer to the request for 5 reasons as requested.. This is a great opportunity
to get to the basics of the matter.

Philip.

Steady on Philip! I never mentioned anything about my belief system. Why
don't you re-read the part of Regner's rule 3 that was in my e-mail.

Thats nonsence Jack! I understand your zeal, but Dr Trampedach is not
questioning the reason for your belief system, just as he is not supporting the
establishments belief system that opposes scripture.

He is merely asking for scientific physical arguments in support of
geocentrism..

That God told us it was so, is not evidence.

    Philip.

      Dear Regner,
Regarding rule 3 is this not used as part of a reason supporting
      heliocentricity?
