Dear GA Parents and Friends:
It is with great sadness that I write this note to you.
I'm afraid that we have had two of our wonderful staff
members die in the last 24 hours. Our head custodial
worker, Ron Scholten, died of a heart attack at the age of
52 last evening. Our school counselor, Roberta Gaby, lost
her battle with cancer this morning. Both Ron and Roberta
were two of the most genuine nice people the GA community
has even known. Roberta and Ron were so easy to work with
and would do anything for anyone. We have told your
children about our loss, so please pray with them at home
tonight for the families of Ron and Roberta. Please keep
the GA staff in your prayer, too. They will truly miss
their two friends.
