Since I have installed both IA and InFusion, I'll weigh in here. I hope I don't Sound too much like Bob Schwarz. FoxView vs. InFusion View: They both have their advantages and disadvantages. FoxView is easier to configure. InFusion View has a more modern look. But really, a HMI doesn't really excite me. The Engineering tools of InFusion (IEE) have grown on me. I feel it has opened up many new options we never had in IA, such as interfacing to other = systems (AB PLC guy talking). Plus, the InFusion historian is much easier = to get data out of for real people to use since it is based on SQL. Using the web based server and/or Active Factory applications, you could Easily see your offshore data onshore if you have decent network Connectivity. = = Best Regards, Glen Bounds ________________________________ -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jeya Jothi Pommi Raj Sent: Saturday, January 19, 2008 5:43 PM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [foxboro] Infusion with I/A series DCS Hi, = We are going to install the I/A DCS for the offshore p/f facility.
