I had an issue with opening Microsoft Office 2007 documents with Duxbury and
this is how I solved it:

Go into Microsoft Office 2007 and double click on the "Microsoft Word" icon to
open up the program.  Then click on the "Office" button in the upper left
corner.  Click on "Word Options" in bottom right corner.  The "Word Options"
menu opens up.  Click on "Save," showing how you can customize how documents
are saved.  On the very first line, it reads "save files in this format"--click
on the dropdown menu to the right of "Word Document (*.docx)."  Look for "Word
97-2003 Document (*.doc)."  Highlight it and click OK.  That should take care
of it as this will save all of your documents in the Word 97-2003 format, which
is compatible with Duxbury.  Hope that helps.
