Hi Terri, For years I used WordStar on the old CP/M and DOS machines. I used Duxbury for the VersaBraille and for DOS, and help automate Braille Institute's Press with batch files for processing Duxbury files. I still use a patched version of WordStar version 4 to imitate the braille page after it is passed through the DOS compiler. That's where I learned how to read computer braille. I fought and fought going to WordPerfect, not being used to the different menu system, and fought going to Word. Yes, I use Word and can teach it. There are things in WordPerfect for Windows that I like better than the way Word does it. But our facility uses Word, so there I am. Sigh. I wish things were easier, and sometimes things evolve faster than we can get used to.
