Oh absolutely and I don't plug the pod in anymore if I'm looking for something
like that, cause I think the tone lab really does it all, at least for me. I
just had some fairly good recordings using the pod as well, but boy nothing
compared with the tone lab for a distorted sound that's for sure.

  Hey Gregg!

You're right there, the clean chorused sounds of the newer Pods are
excellent, but , and it's a considerable butt, the overdriven tones all have
that ghastly fizz, unlike the ToneLab!
The sounds in the ToneLab just seem to be more 'organic', or more like the
'real' amp and cab thing, if you know what I mean?

  Mike

I have to agree here I just love my tonelab, although I did manage some
pretty good sounds with the pod, especially that clean chorusy thing.

      Hey guys!

I have both the Vox ToneLab, and a whole array of Pods, from the first
one to the Pod XT Pro, and I reckon the better one, by a considerable stretch
is the ToneLab!

It just has a richer character all over!
I find that the Pods all suffer from the same fizzy disposition...

That is what I use, I have the Line-6 pod pro guitar and bass and the
line-6 duoverb and they work great!

They are hard ware not soft ware, but, I like it that way.

          Richard:
I'm not a guitar player, but a lot of guys have success with one of
the line 6 pod modules, which can simulate a wide range of amp and effect
setups.

            Hi all
I own two electric guitars, a fender strat and a flat five by
Godin. I also have a gx-700 guitar fx by boss.
For now, I don't have an guitar amp because I don't go to much in
live performance.
I use it in my home studio most of the time.
I plug it in a 24-08 analog mackie.
I don't want to necessary want to buy an guitar amp. Is there
possible to use a real good preamp to have a good result for a real electric
guitar sound?
            Thanks
