Haha no problem. I share your frustration, although I'm not ready to abandon the POD just yet. It's software-driven, so there is no reason Line6 couldn't, as an example, tighten up the four-band post parametric EQ that is already there. They have MIC and CAB modelling, plus room ambiance and reverb available, and they did go as far as putting that post-EQ in there. So, they could certainly gain a lot by adding more bands or tweaking the bands that already exist.
I think there are many great sounds to be had in the PODxt, but I will say your chances of finding them in a few minutes are slim. Not so with the Tonelab, which is more intuitive, and you are likely to be sounding great in minutes!
