Thank you, Bill, that was indeed what I did not have in my instructions. Now the TranzPort is there. However, my Jaws 7.1 prompts as unauthorized, and, unfortunately, I send my authorization key without success. In adition, when I return to the pc keyboard and use the arrow keys, CT5 tells me that i'm using an unauthorized version of CT. For today I've lost my humor to work on that. Maybe, when I come back tomorrow, there's some good advice?

Dear Wolfgang,

Perhaps you received an incorrect version of our instructions. I'll paste
in the revised section below. Our original instructions did not include the
important information in section 1.2.

...

Configuring TranzPort

1.1. Run SONAR and choose Options | MIDI (ALT+O, M). Check the TranzPort
entry in both the input and output list.

1.2. Now choose Options | Control Surface (ALT+O, C). Tab to the "Add a
Control Surface" button and press ENTER. If Frontier TranzPort is not the
highlighted entry in your list, arrow down to select the Frontier TranzPort entry. Now tab and make sure that the TranzPort is highlighted in both the
input and output list. Press OK to add the TranzPort and then the Close
button of the Control Surfaces dialog.

2. Following applies only to customers who have successfully installed
CakeTalking for SONAR 5:
Press F6 to refresh the screen.
Press F4 to open the Track Pane Options.
Choose option 1: Open a list of Control Surfaces so You can choose one to
use. After pressing ENTER, Choose your TranzPort Control Surface from the
list, Then press ENTER to Return to the Track Pane.

3. Press F4 to open the Track Pane Options.
Choose option 2: Make JAWS Speak Changes You Make On Your External Control
Surface. After Pressing Enter, This Setting Will Be Enabled. But It Will Be
Disabled Whenever you return to using your PC keyboard.

Hello:
although I have successfully performed the TranzPort installation from the
DD instructions, and although I performed the steps to confugure it, I don't

find the TranzPort listed in the control surfaces of my track options. In
that list there are just the 4 Sonar Jaws surfaces.

I've successfully installed sonar 5 and CT5. TranzPort is also selected
among the midi inputs and outputs.

I'd be happy about any help. Thank You!

Wolfgang
