Not to mention the "Empress" CP #8921 which went from block colors to Pacman
in one fall swoop! I'm sure there are many other units in this situation.
So far it looks like the E's were never on the Canadian
out west to the coast. Them being in Calgary would most likely indicate that
they were in the shops at Alyth for repairs. I don't think they would be very
effective on the mountain grades west of Calgary.

not use E's in the mountains. The A1A wheel arrangement is not meant for

Yup they were the only class of CPR locomotive never to have at least one

Unit 1801 was wrecked in 1968, and cut-up in 1969.....and then there were
two.
I have searched for photographic evidence they were ever on The Canadian,
but have yet to find any. They also never got Script paint.
