I think that the CP's three E-8 units were used mostly out of Montreal
Glenn yard for most of their lives. They were bought for service to Boston on
thru trains with the B&M.
Other than used on Ottawa and Quebec City runs , and the odd West Island of
Montreal commuter run-did they ever get out west on the CP Canadian? They also
were used alot on the Atlantic Limited to Saint John.
When they were bought by VIA- and repainted in their colors they did get use on
the VIA Canadian service.They were frequent running thru both Sudbury and
Winnipeg.
Anyone have any information on other runs or Canadian service for these guys??
