I usually find your contributions thought-provoking, logical, and easy to
follow, but I am afraid I don't understand this one. I have read it several
times. I just cannot follow your train of thought, how the paragraphs are
related to one another and how you fit our human "machine" dimension (not
sure what your definition is) into Hellinger's three forms of "conscience".
You particularly lose me in the two passages I quote below.

guess it comes back to the question of what are good areas for us to
"control" or improve. For example, being overweight vs. being unable to
