Hi, Patti, I think you meant your letter for Lori. I was sympathizing with
her. Now in my case, my file was sent back to me because of missing page
breaks (my screen reader seems to think they're there). I've worked almost a
month on this file and I am pretty sure no publisher will step in with a
book with my file name on it as it was published in the 1990's. Regards,
Kim. P.S.: Sympathy or empathy is always appreciated. K.

Kim, I'm sorry, that would be a disappointment. Too bad you couldn't have
known before you worked on that book but I guess that is the chance we take.
But I would be disappointed too
Yesterday I looked on the books page and there are books dating back to
beyond a year ago that need proofing.
I saw several that are held too, what is up with that I wonder, how come
people aren't going to get their books?
I let mine sit a month may be but I never would have waited much longer to
proof it.
That just wouldn't be fair.
Unfortunately for me I didn't see but one or two up there that I'd would
want to proof.
But that's just me.
Patti
