2 things I thought of, I'm surprised no one has suggested, and these could
possibly be done with the current physical units
1 a calculator, very doable just requires firmware changes.
2 making it an external usb synthesizer, limitation there may be license
fees from doubletalk.

I agree with Lois.  Let's not do anything which makes this unit too big and,
more importantly, more costly.  $395 is a fair price to pay for this unit,
and I would be very unhappy if this affordable unit started going up in
price.

I don't mind bookport not having an A C adapter since you get such good
mileage from the batteries.  And I wouldn't like to see this little unit
enlarged.  Part of its glory is so much capacity in so little physical
space!
