what if your most favorite feature had been squashed in the development stage, because someone complained that it would raise the price.

I vote No since there are so many other ways of finding out what time it is! I include myself here, but we all seem to want that one machine or gadget, or whatever that does everything and it's just not gonna happen! I've never had a problem with the time function on my Book Port and I'd rather it would read well in different formats, play some music well and not raise the price by adding more and more features.

That's true, and even if you use the d e f command, you have to reset
the clock.
I must admit that the Bookport is the strangest device when it comes to
setting time and date.
I could, for example, set the date to Monday, February 31, 2008.

It keeps good time, but if you're changing batteries a lot it stops doing so.

Interesting. The clock on my unit is one of the most accurate I have. Lou ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandy Licht" <slicht@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 09, 2006 3:32 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: What are the chances of having an hourly

As for me, I would never use it. The clock is too inaccurate for

that.
