Well the official speed for usb1 and 1.1 is 12mbits/sec or 1.5mbytes/sec
Usb2 is 480mbits/sec or 60mbytes/sec

Yes, and I don't know why, but sometimes it seems like the memory in some of
the jump drives is faster than in some of the flash memory cards.  I would
have expected them to be the same or slower.  I wonder if the USB 2 speeed
is faster than the connection speed for the memory cards?
