Hello, It is a sad but true fact, as you said, that technology makes improvements, and often, that means that when you buy something, it is very shortly discontinued, or there is already something else being designed, that will be better. When I first bought my DVD ready stereo, it was with analog inputs, and there was one I could have had with one digital input for the DVD player, for $1000. I decided not to do this, but now you can get something even better, jammed packed with features for around $600, which pales in comparison. Every company I know of releases new upgraded versions of their hardware. How about Humanware releasing a new BrailleNote mPower this past summer. Don't you suppose that there were people who were unhappy about that too. Newer units with newer features, faster processors, more memory, etc. is just a part of doing business. If it wasn't we would still be rideing around in horse pulled carts because people would get mad if the company came out with new carts with motors on them. It's called progress, and if it were not for progress you wouldn't be using that computer either. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bruce Toews" <DogRiver@xxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, November 25, 2005 10:20 PM Subject: [bookport] Re: USB 2 Connection : And then the you-know-what will hit the fan. : : Bruce : : -- : Bruce Toews : E-mail and MSN/Windows Messenger: DogRiver@xxxxxxxx : Web Site (including info on my weekly commentaries): http://www.ogts.net : Info on the Best TV Show of All Time: http://www.cornergas.com : : On Fri, 25 Nov 2005, Otto Zamora wrote: : : > hi, : > : > Rumor has it that sometime after the new year, a new unit will come out : > which has updated usb connections among other things. : > Keep in mind that this is a rumor only. : > : > Otto : > : > _____ : > : > From: bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bookport-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] : > On Behalf Of Jason Rufo : > Sent: Monday, November 21, 2005 2:32 PM : > To: bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx : > Subject: [bookport] USB 2 Connection : > : > : > Greetings, : > I have a question with respect to Bookport and it's USB Connection.
