Rumor has it that sometime after the new year, a new unit will come out
which has updated usb connections among other things.
Keep in mind that this is a rumor only.

Greetings,
I have a question with respect to Bookport and it's USB Connection. After
reading through a variety of material on the Bookport, I am under the
impression that the device still has a USB type 1 connection. Assuming this
is correct, has there been any talk about upgrading from a type one to a
type 2? I am curious to know when Bookport will be available with USB 2
capabilities. Thanks for taking the time to read my inquiry.
