I think the Book Port is a wonderful machine, but I also see room for
improvement. If some modifications were made to the hardware, the reality
is I'd be the first to stand in line to take advantage of it and shell out
my money to do so. Here is my list:
Really Nice:
More internal and modern firmware memory, giving the APH firmware
developers more room to allow Book Port to handle various file formats
directly instead of having to have stuff converted by the transfer
software, a built-in Grade 2 back-translator, and so on.
2. A battery compartment that better differentiates between the positive
and negative contact points.
2. A physical locking switch.

Of course they shouldn't be free. My point is that I see many suggestions on this list, and I get the impression that those who make them would be the first to complain if they had to pay for the fruit of their requests. The Bookport has some wonderful features and its overall performance is great. I simply think that if we make all of the hardware changes people want, we'll have a device that costs more than the original, and you'll see nothing but endless complaints on this list.

And why should they be free? New hardware features would be okay, but I am happy with the Bookport I have. I wouldn't spend another four hundred dollars to buy a BP just because it had the latest and greatest bells and whistles on it.
If you like the Book Courier better, then... to each his own.

If it is in your pocket, it is highly unlikely the Bookport will be unlocked.

Is there any ability to solve this problem? Why does the courier proform better than the bookport when theysuchitrecoirders thatsimilar devices?
Also I would like to suggest that like many pocket digitalfuture bookports should have a switch on the side so you can turn
off andthe keys dont get accidently pressed in your pocket.
