This is something we could bat around until the cows come home and wouldn't
get anywhere with it because it depends so much on how each individual wants
to use their unit. If you are expecting a speaker that is suitable for
music, then I would agree that size would be a problem, but not for speech
or spoken word material.

I for one would not want an internal speaker. And, I would never pay for
such an upgrade.
