I used to have that problem. Then I learned about the DEF command before
changing batteries. Haven't had the problem since.

Hi, when I change batteries all of my settings are lost.
I think the documentation says that settings should be retained for 30
seconds or so.
It probably takes about 10 to 15 seconds to change the batteries.
Does anyone else have this problem?
