I don't know if it locks up like a computer, but it does sometimes happen. Using the reset command or taking out and putting in the batteries has worked for me in the past. Knocking on wood!!!!!!

Why do you have to reset the device? Does it lockup like a pc? Everyone has told me the device is very stable much more than most other devices of its kind.

Actually, I have both products, I do think I've had to reset the book port
more then the courier, and I actually tend to use the courier a bit more, I
like the interface a bit better, but I plan on keeping them both.
