You are most definitely NOT making a mistake. A lot of us on this list are
beta testers, and we discuss issues concerning beta firmware and
software. If APH does come out with a new Bookport, it will probably be
over a year from now. As it is, the BP is one of the most trouble free
devices I have owned. It is a whole lot more stable than my
computer! Once you start using yours, you will wonder how you ever lived
without it.
