Hi Mickey,
Since you said you could see the Book Port from My Computer, just connect
the bookport and run the transfer program from the start menu. You can then
transfer books anyway. Also, see if the bookport launcher is in the start
menu. Go to the start menu and look in the startup pull-down menu to see
if it is there. If it is, it should have started when you re-booted your
computer. If it is not there, that is probably why the transfer program
doesn't start when you connect the bookport.
Cliff

Hi, Rob.

When I went to get the previous beta, the BP needed coaxing. I think I
finally got it.

Very early Sunday morning I decided it was time to get the beta. The
computer does NOT recognize the BP.

I've tried another USB cable, tried taking batteries out, tried rebooting,
tried the BP on another computer to get the error, tried resetting and
reformattting, tried another card, and have been asking the list since
Sunday morning.

Any suggestions? Anything else I can try?

Boy, do you miss a BP once you've had it!

Mickey
