Hi Cathy,
I see you everywhere. LOL You can check and see if this used unit
needs updating. Just run the Book Port Transfer, then in Options, on the
Advanced tab, click both the Software and the Firmware buttons. At least
you will know if you have the latest updates.
As far whether you should have waited for the newest BP, I would say
that you wont be unhappy with the current one.
