Neil,

I can confirm that there is no problem at all when playing the TNAUK DAISY
diskcs on the Victor player. I would like to point out, however, that the
file size shouldn't be an issue because as long as you have the necessary
room on your flash card (which I have) then the file should transfer no
problem. Added to this, I already transfer RNIB's DAISY TV Listings and
Torch Trust's Every Day With Jesus to the BC with no problem and those files
are also rather on the large side!

All the best,

Andrew

HI Andrew, Dawn & Steve -

First, to confirm what Andrew first reported on this list - there is a
problem in transferring, at least some, of the TNAUK Daisy compilations to
the BC - note these compilations are intended for the Victor Daisy player
and we have no reports of problems using them on this device.

My feeling is that it is a file size problem - I was sent a single
compilation of the Economist (about 30MB) - that loaded onto the BC with
no problem, but the News and Current Affairscompilation I tried (TNAUK
number 603), which is over 700MB in size, results in the request noted by
ANdrew to enter a non-existant additional disk.

I'll talk to Heathfield on Monday to see where we go on this.

Best,

Neil.
