The Doubletalk emulates the Echo II and has its own synth in addition that uses
an additional slot. I did business with RC Systems years ago and Randy, the guy
who runs it, shafted me. There's information about it in my not recommended
businesses section of my web site. The synth is ok but you definitely need to
figure that what you buy is exactly what you get and hardware support especially
may be lacking regardless of what you're told.
Exactly how much the synth costs depends upon how much onboard memory you have
added to it.
