Actually,
there is still hardware being manufactured for apple 2 series machines.
At the moment, there's an IDE/Compact Flash adaptor, and a network card,
as well as Doubletalks which are still available in limited supply from Rc 
Systems at http://www.rcsys.com.
Also keep an eye on http://www.a2central.com for what's happening in the Apple 
2 world.
