Hi, everyone! I also have tons of messages with great tips from volunteers. Many of them are on my desktop, so I'll have to wait until I am back in my house to get them, whenever that may be! <Smile> Back in the dim and misty, when Jesse first asked me to help monitor the list, I submitted a file to him with some tips from volunteers. At the time, he was going to put together just such a page. Unfortunately, that never happened, but some of those tips will probably still be of value. Anyway, thanks to Jay and Grace for offering to host such a page... or in Grace's case, to help with finding someone to do so! <Smile> Take care!

Jana

Grace,

This is a great idea! I had a folder entitled Tech Tips but unfortunately,
when I deleted some unwanted folders that one was deleted. It was tips I
was collec ting that people put on this list.. Tiffany Jessen is a good
source for tips as well. Maybe she would resubmit some of her tips on JAWS
and Word. <smile>

HI Sarah:

I have a suggestion, why don't we create a list of tips for best scanning
results as well as validating. I will ask Rui to post it on his
booksharescans page and perhaps Jake won't mind posting it on his page as
well. So if you want to write something you can. If you'd like we can work
together on it also.

If anyone wants to write tips you can send it to me and I will make sure
that posted on Rui's page. I think I still have Donna's post on scanning
with fine reader. I will include that too.

So what does everyone think? Comments? Suggestions?

Grace
