Sue et al,

Please--I have a request. If you download a book that
looks interesting to read (fiction,
interestingly-written history, biography, young adult
literature), but there's something wrong with it, like
missing pages or missing page breaks or garbled pages,
could I ask you please to release it and tell me about
it, either here or offlist rther than reject it?
Unfortunately, what happens sometimes--maybe even
often, is that the scanner either doesn't want to
bother rescanning, maybe because he or she did it for
him/herself and has too much other stuff to do, or
because he/she doesn't have the book any more. But if
I can get the book, I can validate it and save it,
putting page breaks in where they belong, scanning
missing pages, etc.

Unfortunately, the particular Behind the Door that Tom
had I can't obtain, so it wouldn't have done any good
in this case, unless I could figure out from page
numbers and headings where the proper page breaks
belonged--which is possible sometimes, and which I've
done before.

Thanks.

Cindy
