I would rather spend time scanning something else that is more fun or proof reading something that is more fun. The book I have is a Prentice Hall book and it is a really good book. I wish I had had this book when I first learned to use Word, since I used to use Word Perfect for Dos (and still do sometimes) and the two are not anything alike. I think a non sighted person would have a little trouble using the book because there are all sorts of wonderful pictures showing you where at you can click this or that, but, and I'm not sure, a non sighted person probably isn't using a mouse, anyway? So the short answer is if this book will help one person I'm willing to scan it but it won't happen very fast. I don't know how long it even takes to scan a typical book. But I would rather do something more fun. Or, on a week when I don't have so many things pulling at my paycheck, I'd be more willing to pay the $20 to buy a used copy for Bookshare to scan.
