National Braille Press has a Word 2000 and reference that pertains to Window
Eyes

Also, though expensive,

Access Technology Institute has some great tutorials that pertain to Jaws
and Window Eyes.

Many of us on this list
share occasional feelings of being frustrated around our
disability. Equipment and software can be expensive. Transportation for
those of us who do not drive is deplorable in this country. Both these
factors impact the lives of disabled people in many ways -- socially, in
how we make a living and often they take a toll on our mood.

One of the things which is so valuable about bookshare and about this
volunteer list is that both are examples of groups of us coming together
and creating something which benefits all of us.

We also speak about day to day things on this list. One of the things we
all can do is learn to use the tools we DO have while attempting to acquire
new ones. Believe me, I know how important it is to go for all those new
useful pieces of technology. I also know how valuable it is to learn to
use the stuff I already have.

I am personally committing myself to learn to use products I have had for
ages and use in a haphazard basis. I plan to do my best to contact the
manufacturers and investigate available tutorials and learning
resources. If folks want them, I can give them to you off list.

The list of things I have and need to use better includes Word, Excel, and
of course my screen reader (blush). Folks can benefit from learning better
use of JAWS ZOOMTEXT and Window--eyes.

Does anybody know of tutorials specifically about Word 2003 and Window-eyes?

E.
