Hi Gill, i'm a customer of StartSSL.com and since I'm a class 2 verified member I can generate certificates that can be used for signing code. So I signed libusb0.dll, libusb0.sys and relative _X64 files. Windows7 still refusing that drivers, maybe u can suggest me how to solve this problem?
Only by following the procedure I outlined. What do the properties of the .sys files show under "Digital Signatures" ? What are the details ?
I removed every old unsigned driver from system32, system32/drivers dir and sysWOW64, removed the driver from device manager too... nothing this doesn't help :/
Sorry, I have no idea, since I don't know what you did differently. How about trying the self signing procedure as written, and see if it works, and then try variations on how the signing is done. I really had no trouble at all with it, it worked exactly as advertised, so I'm kind of puzzled why anybody is having problems. Graeme Gill.
