Hi Steve
Hasn’t BWBF gone down that route too with Bumblebee?
Kind regards,

Hi Pete,
For my money, I was talking about the presenter, not you. I didn’t listen to
your interview yet, but the one thing I will say I don’t like about the Android
app is that it doesn’t conform to Talkback gestures. In other words, Calibre
have gone their own way, without any regard to Google’s gesture set.
This is OK if you are new to it, but the best way to slow down an advanced user.
I think I tangled with the app for a little while and didn’t like it much.
I think Calibre could learn a lot from Audible, whose interface is much slicker.
All the best
Steve

hello ian,
i presume you are speaking about me as i was the one being interviewed on the
techtalk program.
perhaps you would like to explain what is wrong with the Calibre download
app, presuming you have actually used it.
and what i was supposed to have said that made it look like i didn't know what
i am speaking about.
there are a lot of people on this list that have known me for years and know
that i am very technically minded and don't just speak a load of rubbish so i
can put my pennies worth in to a thread.
i'd be more than happy to explain anything you would like to know about the
calibre app and why things were done the way they were.
pete gurney.
