So do I. Justlook at Amazon/Audible, who are way bigger than Calibre. You
don’t have to sign into them every tine.

pete surely realistically my next door neighbour would not be able to put in my
details as he or she would not have them. I therefore see this as a very weak
argument for us to have to continue putting in the four digit pin even when the
app is updated. I will even go so far as to say that none of my family members
by way of nieces or nephews who are adults into their 30s! would even be
interested in downloading and or streaming these books from calibre. there are
these other apps like Siriol which and dads Italy they do listen to when
jogging or running but I really think that this issue of piracy is feared a lot
more than the reality itself.

thanks for your experiences with the app, it would be very helpful if you could
send me details of the problems you encountered.
calibre agree with you about having to re-enter your membership number, and
that is why in the next update the app will automatically remember the
membership number for you but you would still need to enter the 4 digit pin
number when re-entering the app and again this has to be done to ensure the app
is only used by authorised members.
the reason i say most of the calibre members are not advanced users may sound
agist but it isn't ment that way but the majority of members are elderly, i am
now 67 but the average age of the members makes me feel very young.
lots of members even found it quite difficult to swap from cassette to cds, and
with it becoming harder and harder to obtain suitable cd players that have the
bookmark function that is essential the day will come when everything will be
this is why the app has to be as simple as possible to try and make it usable
by the first time novice.
again any suggestions you have that would make it easier for people to use
would be appreciated, several of the improvements in the next version of the
app are things that were suggested by members.
