Katherine, by an unstable internet connection I mean, say, you're on wireless, but it keeps dropping now and again, in fact every few minutes I have to say, for no apparent reason. As a result web pages would either load slowly or not at all, files would either be downloaded as a corrupted copy or download very slowly or even not at all, e-mails would take longer to send/receive or even have problems connecting to the server in the first place, and things like that.
