[access-uk] Re: Warning about AVG and other Anti-virus packages

I'm 100 percent sure it's not to do with using Internet Explorer. If anything it's to do with using Windows. But maybe it's not. The point is, this can happen anyhow; as far as I can make out from user experience and reading/being interested in these things, that will just happen sometimes! The thing is to keep up to date with software and bugs.

Of course you can use other browsers. But guaranteed this will not stop corruption of one sort or another.

Hello Chris,

Thanks for the info/warning, but what do you mean by an unstable internet connection?

Hi all,
I know this may sound blatently obvious, but I thought I'd warn you all,
thanks to a friend, that if your connection(s) are unstable, this may cause whatever antivirus you're using to Fail. My friend had to do a reinstall of
AVG Free today after discovering that some of the components were in an
undetermined state, and it turned out that she had lots of viruses which AVG failed to pick up before the reinstall. I do not want this to happen to you,
so this is why I'm sending the warning out. Thanks for reading!
