I have downloaded books with JAWS. As has been said by others, there are a number of accessibility issues which I hope RNIB can successfully put pressure on to have resolved. I suppose this is the price that has to be paid for piggybacking on to a site which already exists in the mainstream. However, if you want real inaccessibility, try Spotify on your PC.

Hi Ian, Discovered this earlier this morning, but for me only works with NVDA, guess I must have a setting wrong in IE or JFW!Either way, I thought that once you click on the "mp3 download audio book" link on the RNIB Overdrive page the download would start automatically, it doesn't do this for me! Thanks for your assistance, much appreciated! alistair-----Original Message----- From: Iain Lackie

Hi Aedan,When I click on download mp3 either nothing happens or I'm prompted to save a small "master open document" no other options appear! I should add that I've resolved the search issue, someone told me to check the maturity level in settings, it had been set to "from mature Adult to mature adult" I altered it to "general adult to mature adult" so now searches function properly. Hi, After clicking on download you must down arrow to choose mp3 or wma format and below this you will then get a download link that puts you in the Pc version of Overdrive to choose the default folder to save the file to. After this you may highlight "Select all" for all the files in the book and press ok to start the download. Hi folks,Still having serious issues with this programme on my pc,despite contacting RNIB overdrive team I find myself on the verge of deleting the damn thing! spent a lot of time searching for authors and books from the RNIB overdrive page, ensured the spelling was correct only to have my searches returned as errors or not found! which is odd as they were there at the llaunch of the app! Secondly, after signing in, I try to download a title, so click borrow, then click download mp3, only to be told that this is a master open document file and where do I want to save it? The mp3 book does not download!Where am I going wrong?I have read the RNIB notes and endeavour to follow them correctly!I should add that this is a pc problem only as I’ve already given up on the Ipod as a bad job! For some reason I successfully use my Ipad Air to download a book, it would however be nice to use the pc! Anyone else experience this? BEST!
