I looks like I won't be needing MetaFrame anymore.

Terminal Services in Windows Server 2003 (formerly
called .NET server, hence the source of some confusion
with the .NET web-based apps framework), will provide
a lot of functionality currently only provided by ICA
- client drive mapping, client serial port mapping,
sound mapping, 24-bit color, higher resolutions, etc.
(just review all of the currently useless options in
the WinXP RDP client), as well as supporting some
non-Windows clients.

In addition, you can load-balance terminals servers. A
really cool feature is if a session gets disconnected,
it can reconnect to the same session but on a
different server (courtesy of Session Directory).

It appears, however, that it will not have any
equivalents to all of the neat Enterprise Management
tools that you get with XPe.

So for a company not needing enterprise management
tools, ICA won't offer much advantage over RDP - which
is why Citrix has been lately putting so much emphasis
on their other value-adding products like CSG and NFue
Elite.
