Not worth looking at for the particular project that were working on. Our
client here has a significant investment in Zen so I cant see them changing.
Besides it works for them.

You might want to take a look at the new release of RES PowerFuse
(6.03). It has many things to offer more then ZEN can...
Would be interested to see how much easier (or harder) it would be using
        RES PowerFuse instead of ZEN...

Have you tried Zen4 yet. It has much improved Terminal services support.

We did an implementation with Zen3.2 last year for a client and it
worked but there was a lot of mucking around you had to do to get it to
work properly. We had to escelate numerous calls to Novell for support
as there was lots of issues encountered.
        =20
Im about to start an implementation for a large client running Zen 4 so
I will be very interested to see how much easier it is. So from the prep
        work done it looks good.=20

The point of DLU (I think) is to displace the need for Active
        Directory
anything. You use NDS (eDirectory) instead. The Citrix farm
        could just
be in a simple Windows workgroup vs. Active Directory tree. The
        roaming
profile controlled by Zenworks can be stored in the users Novell
        home
directory or any networked drive accessible by the user. There
        is no
need for creating the user in the local SAM as it is done by DLU
        on the
                fly.
I haven't attempted to run a mixed Novell/Zenworks and Microsoft
        AD
environment so I can't really speak to how or if it works. I
        suspect you
would need a tool like DirXML or Metadirectory services to sync
        up the 2
directory services otherwise you would have to manually sync
        user ID's
and passwords (unrealistic with real security and real users).
        Anyone
on the list done this? I wouldn't mind hearing about your
        experiences.

Ok, thaks for your response, but if i use DLU user volatile, can
        i use
roaming profile and mantain working the farm such as Windows
        2000 =3D
                Active
Directory integration? The roaming profiles can be read from a
        share =3D
                whitout
                users in local SAM?
        =09
                Thanks
