Tib,
I suggest downloading Spybot as well. Nice thing about Spybot, it'll prevent
you from getting stuff on
your computer.
Be sure both these programs are updates..and you need anti-virus software to
be pretty sure there is no
key tracking software on your computer.
There is no way to be 100% sure you are safe. I use low-limit credit cards on
the net, just in case.

Subject: [TechAssist] computer question how do i secure my computer from hackers

hello to all
Thanks to all who responded to my post
As it turned out my computer was loaded with spyware
I downloaded adware and ran program computer seems to be back to normal
my next question is how do I know if my computer is safe enough to do
transactions with a credit card ? Just recently some got access to my credit
card number ( now I'm afraid to use it online )
Is this an issue to do with firewall ( NEED ADVICE )
Any suggestions
tib
