most require us to carry 1,000,000 liability insurance.
we do some warranty work for some manufacturers.
besides the low pay, the sets are new and no one seems to know
how to fix them.
even the service lit has errors, the parts are not available
many times on back order.
it seems to take 4 times as long to repair a new wide screen set.
and as for factory tech help, if you dont mind spending all
day on the phone listening to music, and then hope you get an
old timer that actually has fixed a few sets. but i cant stop
working for hours to make the needed phone calls.
also dont depend on anything.
i was a service center for 15 years with no problems, and all
of a sudden i got a registered letter saying good by.
no explanation , just turn in your final invoices in 30 days.
but that is what the contract says 30 day notice by either party.
so i cant complain.
Go figure,
Larry
