That theory would help to explain why some dogs need a lot of help to get those beautiful ears up. I agree about wild canines having erect ears, but SOMEWHERE hanging ears had to enter the picture -- beagles, bassets, poodles, etc etc etc. Anybody have any other ideas? Just curious.
