why pick on just hips? What about elbows? Thyroid? heart?
how would we show puppies? x-rays at 6 months aren't always conclusive of
anything.
Also, OFA excellent does not guarantee OFA excellent or even an OFA pass in
the kids.. if it were that easy, don't you think that it would have "cured"
the problem long ago? what about breeders that take "ringers" to the vets
for another dog's x-rays to guarantee a certification.. I know of dogs (NOT
my own) that have been x-rayed many times in the place of another to ensure
the almighty number..
I understand where you are coming from, but it just isn't that simple.. you
can not legislate ethics..
