Mark, I do tend to stand aside in these discussions, but I think there is a time to concede gracefully. The original question was "fuel pump", not non fuel injected consumer cars selling more than 1000 units in the continental USA that you personally have worked on.

Carlos, I do not want pictures. 31510 was used on Mercedes-Benz cars. I am still waiting to learn of any car sold in the US with a Lucas electric fuel pump. I have never seen one.I am almost positive 31510 was made by SU and simply marketed through Lucas. SU had a problem with sales to Europe for reasons now obscure. The German Army was reluctant to buy M88 gassers for the reason that they had SU fuel pumps.Marc msmall@xxxxxxxxxxxx Cha robh bàs fir gun ghràs fir! --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org- Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
