Great shots of the concourse Ray, if I'd of known there were going to be so many Ferrari's I would have come (so many being more than one here in Utah), and thanks for the blueprint site, that site is a lot of fun. Anyone going out to the Vintage Bike races this weekend?? Here is a shot I took at Long Beach of the Ferrari-Lamborghini-Porsche-anything Exotic car coral that accompanied the LB GP. It is almost enough to make me want to move to So. Cal. There were 4 rows of Ferrari's, two ½ of Lambo's, 3 ½ of Porsches and 25 other very interesting exotics. I did not shoot enough pictures of them all, but the attached pic gives you a little taste (it is amazing how with that many Ferrari's you can bored looking at 360 Modena's) A few years ago a rich guy bought a P51 Mustang fighter plane and on one flight the engine lost power. He was over the desert there was a long dirt road below him that he could have landed on. But he was scared and decided that he would bail out rather than try to land on a dirt road. So He jumped, and let the plane crash, no big deal he thought, I'll just buy another one. He was then ostersized from the historic plane community because he let a P51 crash without trying to save it, and no one would sell him another P51 (or so my pilot buddy tells me) (I can see his point however, risk flipping the plane and dying on a desert dirt road or bail out and live, hmmmm, I must not be that big of an historic plane person as I thought). So the question is, should this guy in the historic Testa Rosa be ostersized for wrecking it???? I guess I'll just cry with you all, and hope they get it repaired. Anybody remember Sir Stirling Moss bashing the 1959 Le Mans winning Aston Martin (see Pic) at Monterey a few years ago? He wasn't shunned was he? Just thinking out loud as I sob! Here's a kool site for car nutz: http://www.the-blueprints.com/blueprints/ Ya gotta register, but it's free. Not all the blueprints are the highest quality, but some are great. You can view 'em without registering, but they're scaled back a bit. I don't understand all the cell phone blueprints, though. Nice photo, John. I am always amazed at your ability to get the models and years of these things. Time does not permit be to be so thorough. I'll attach one more from the Concours for fun. Here is another one that the placard is overexposed. I bet someone knows what this is.
